Defining a minimal clinically important difference for the Vanderbilt ADHD Parent Rating Scale in children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

CONCLUSION: This study estimated MCID values for the Chinese VAFPRS in children and adolescents with ADHD. Anchor-based median estimates derived from the minimally improved CGI-I group were – 8 for the total score, – 5 for core symptoms, – 2 for inattention, and – 3 for hyperactivity/impulsivity. ROC-derived thresholds were lower and may provide complementary classification cutoffs for identifying improvement status.
