Overlap between PTSD, ADHD, and narcolepsy

This case report describes the diagnosis of ADHD in a 29-year-old woman suffering from psychiatric and metabolic conditions and type 2 diabetes, receiving treatment for severe PTSD. She developed excessive daytime sleepiness, which, due to diagnostic overshadowing, initially was attributed to her psychiatric illness, delaying diagnosis and treatment.
