CONCLUSIONS: A youth-centered model emphasizing prevention, early identification, mental-health screening, and coordinated school/sports policies is key to reducing neuropsychiatric burden. Future work should prioritize longitudinal pediatric cohorts, validation of scalable screening pathways and biomarkers, and trials of school and community based interventions.
