Dawid Kruk , MD.
- Profile
- I am a board-certified psychiatrist and a graduate of the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków, where I completed my specialist training at the University Hospital (Department of Psychiatry for Adults, Children and Adolescents). I am currently a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Medical and Health Sciences, Jagiellonian University Medical College, with my doctoral research focusing on negative symptoms in schizophrenia. I have also co-authored research on the use of virtual reality in psychiatry.
My clinical practice centres on the assessment and treatment of adult ADHD, complex trauma-related disorders, and substance use disorders. I work in outpatient trauma and addiction treatment services, with a particular interest in the interplay between ADHD and these comorbidities. I actively promote ADHD awareness among colleagues in multidisciplinary teams.
I have completed the ECNP course "A Modernised Concept of ADHD" and the ECNP Workshop on Clinical Research Methods, and I regularly attend ECNP Congresses. I am also trained in EMDR therapy. - Work Address
