Borderline personality disorder (BPD) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) are each associated with impulsivity, emotion dysregulation, and an increased prevalence of suicide attempts. It is unclear whether comorbid ADHD heightens suicide risk in individuals with BPD.
