CONCLUSIONS: Paediatric ARFID is associated with substantial medical and psychiatric comorbidity, particularly anxiety and neurodevelopmental conditions. Findings support comprehensive, multidisciplinary assessment and developmentally informed interventions. Further high-quality, population-based studies are needed to reduce heterogeneity and strengthen evidence certainty.
