Intermittent theta burst stimulation modulates working memory-related theta-gamma coupling in adolescents with ADHD

CONCLUSIONS: Active iTBS to the left DLPFC modulated WM-related TGC in youth with ADHD. These findings provide preliminary evidence that neuromodulation may improve WW by modifying oscillatory dynamics within frontoparietal networks. Larger clinical trials with higher stimulation doses are needed to determine whether targeting oscillatory coupling represents a potential therapeutic strategy for WM deficits. Trial Registrations: NCT05102864 ; NCT05662280.
