Major mental disorders are frequent, chronic, and heterogenous disorders with complex etiopathology. This review specifically focuses on the immunogenetic variants associated with bipolar disorders, recurrent depression, schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorders, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
