Research domain and expertise
The main topic of my research is the metabolic syndrome and weight gain related to psychotropic drugs, especially on patients affected by severe and resistant psychiatric disorders.
From 2006, in Erasme Hospital in Brussels, my activity has also included care and diagnostic of children and adults ADHD with the team of Pr Mendlewicz, Dr I Massat and Dr P Oswald.
I am pursuing applied clinical research, and looking at methodology to improve as fast as possible the daily care of patients affected by schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and attention disorders with or without hyperactivity
I am involved in an international research network (TRD) studying the phenotypes of the resistant and refractory depression.
I am also interested in the Psychiatric crisis center and their evolution, and in fact I coordinate a local network studying the ambulatory centers development and the enhancement of the Community mental health in Geneva
I have published more than 30 articles in scientific journals, and more than a dozen original research papers in referenced journals. I have been selected to present more than 40 studies at several Congresses worldwide and invited to give lectures nationally and internationally. I have also contributed to many articles and the writing of a book untitled "Psychopharmacologies des troubles bipolaires".
