Atomoxetine has been licensed for Adults with ADHD in the UK and several European countries in June 2013 (link). It was already licensed for children and adolescents with this disorder. Atomoxetine is second choice medication for ADHD after methylphenidate in the NICE guideline (link). This is good news for adult patients with ADHD. Hopefully the licensing of the first choice medication will follow soon.
